Description

Raw Large Black Tiger Prawns(approx. 13 -17 prawns per 500g)

These prawns are frozen in one kilogram boxes. Perfect to pull out a few prawns throw into a pan, and leave the rest for later. 

To Store

Leave Prawns in their shells until just before using and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months below -18ºC. Once thawed, frozen Prawns should not be refrozen.

To Cook

Average yield is 45%. Has a sweet, medium flavour, low to medium oiliness and moist, firm flesh. Flesh is translucent when raw and white to pink with pinkish bands when cooked. In cooked Prawns, cut the back open to remove the digestive tract.

Steam, poach, deep-fry, pan-fry, stir-fry, grill, barbecue. Like all seafood, Prawns require very little cooking. Undercook, rather than overcook, them, as they will continue cooking in the residual heat.

  •  Orders before 7pm are available for same-day delivery. Orders come after 7pm and 12 am will be planned for next-day delivery.

 

  • Sydney-wide delivery is subject to our delivery calendar. Contact Fish Moments staff for your delivery.

 

  • Our delivery time frame is: 11 am to 9 pm

 

  • About the order cut-off time. We know how important it can be to have delicious, fresh seafood delivered to your door as soon as possible, so we make sure our delivery times are as flexible as possible! Orders before 7pm are available for same-day delivery. Orders come after 7pm and 12 am will be planned for next-day delivery.

 

  • You can order from Fish Moments up to 15 days in advance.

Store pickup is available for Sydney Metro area. Pickup location: Shop 3, 6 Galloway Street, Mascot, NSW 2020. For best quality, please contact Fish Moments staff before your trip started.

 

An email will be sent to you when we receive your order and when your order is ready for pickup. If you choose store pickup, do not start your trip to our store until receiving our pickup-ready notification email.

Delivery Progress & Legals

We are trying our best to offer you the best quality fresh food, however, we are not permitted to check the receiver’s ID when delivering by law. We only ensure that we deliver to the address provided.

Fresh food is treated as perishables and all items to be delivered is ATL (Authority to leave). We understand that ATL is not an option for some customers, therefore please ensure there will be somebody at your premises to sign the delivery package.

Failed deliveries (where ATL is not possible, or incorrect delivery address, or other seasons we cannot deliver your order) will be returned to our store. You must contact to arrange a redelivery request and a redelivery fee may occur.

While we always strive to ensure on-time delivery, there might be instances when the package may be delivered past the confirmed date. Fish Moments shall not be liable to any person if we decline to supply the product(s) for any reason whatsoever. We reserve the right to decline orders without disclosing the reason behind that action.

Please note that the delivery fees quoted on our website are based on the most economical shipment methods, we reserve the right to adjust the delivery fees at any time for your purchase orders should the lowest rate or courier method becomes unable. We are not liable for any losses or delays if we can’t reach you through the phone number or email address you provided when placing the order.

If the customer received a free gift as part of a promotion and the product or portion of the product is returned for any reason (unless it was a faulty or defective product) the free gift must be returned along with the unwanted product. Free gifts cannot be returned for refund or exchange and have no cash value of their own.

The liability of Fish Moments for any loss, damage, or injury arising directly or indirectly from one of our products for non-compliance of any of our products or for any other reason shall not in the event exceed the amount equivalent to the price of the product.
